Axel is a sweet and joyful puppy with a heart as big as his paws! Axel’s story began in Bakersfield, where he and his brother were heartbreakingly dumped and left to fend for themselves. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan found them, but sadly, one of the pups had already been hit by a car and didn’t survive. Determined to save the one left behind, they reached out to us — and of course, we said yes.

Now safe with Labradors and Friends, Axel is thriving. This happy-go-lucky pup is full of love and curiosity. To him, strangers are just friends he hasn’t met yet, and his tail hasn’t stopped wagging since he arrived. Whether it’s cuddle time, playtime, or just hanging out, Axel is happiest when he’s near his people.
