More about Hope

Foster or forever home wanted for Hope. To look at Hope is painful, but she doesn't hold any grudges. In fact, Hope is very grateful for the unhoused couple that have been caring for her and trying to help her. Hope was discovered when a wonderful animal advocate and friend that helps serve the unhoused and low-income individuals with veterinary care, services and supplies, went to pay a visit to an encampment she serves. She in turn reached out to us to see if we would take Hope into our care. Of course, the answer was a resounding yes.
Hope arrived at our veterinarian's office on April 11 to begin treatment for some terrible skin issues we need to find the root cause of. From the couple that have been caring for her the past few weeks, they said she is very sweet despite being dumped down in the riverbed.
The staff at the hospital also say Hope is very sweet, happy and affectionate. Since Hope is new to us, we are still getting to know her. Also, waiting on tests to identify what may be causing the skin issues. In the meantime, Hope could use a foster or better yet a forever home. If you are interested in meeting Hope, please fill out an application at www.labradorsandfriends.org. Hope is located in Southern California.
